How To Find Us

The Wallasey Scout Boathouse is located on:

Poulton Bridge Road,

Wallasey, Wirral, CH41 1EA

The Boathouse is identified by the green arrow on the map below.

From the M53:

1. Travel NORTH=BOUND along M53.
2. Do not come off at Junction 1.
3. About 50m after the exit for Junction 1 – EXIT LEFT towards Wallasey Docks onto the A5139.
4. Stay in the RIGHT-HAND LANE and the road bends round to the right, past a Toyota garage on your left.
5. At the roundabout take the THIRD EXIT – RIGHT (at 3 o'clock).
6. Immediately after exiting the roundabout take a LEFT turn in through a big set of metal gates.
7. The BIG BLUE BUILDING on your right is the Boathouse.

From the Wallasey Tunnel:

1. Come through the Wallasey Tunnel, staying in the LEFT-HAND LANE.
2. Having paid at the toll booth, stay to the left and take the EXIT LEFT – up-hill.
3. At the roundabout take the FIRST EXIT – LEFT (at 9 o'clock) onto Gorsey Lane (A5027).
4. Move into the RIGHT-HAND LANE.
5. At the traffic lights at bottom of the hill TURN RIGHT onto the A5139.
6. At the roundabout take the FIRST EXIT - LEFT (at 9 o'clock).
7. Immediately after exiting the roundabout take a LEFT turn in through a big set of metal gates.
8. The BIG BLUE BUILDING on your right is the Boathouse.
